Acenseo @ IP Expo 2011

Acenseo successfully participated in one of the biggest IT Events around the globe “IP Expo”  2011. This year it was mainly concentrated around Cloud computing and Virtualisation.
At the event, we were demonstrating and discussing the virtual and cloud based products within our portfolio, which grabbed a tremendous amount of attention from the delegates. The products covered included:

·         Barracuda On the Cloud Backup Service

·         Barracuda Virtual Web Filter

·         Barracuda Virtual Spam and Virus Firewall

·         Barracuda Virtual SSL VPN

·         Vulnerability Testing

The Acenseo Team was inundated  for the entire event, showing live product and service demos, discussing client network infrastructure and associated challenges, booking 1 to 1 meetings and formal proof of concept sessions after the event, including preparing quotations and proposals.
The team included Lee Harrison, Founder and Managing Director of Acenseo Ltd leading the sales team with Steve, Erika, Mark, Ben, Matt, Rav, Bobby, and technical consultants Guarav and Preet. The team also had Barracuda EMEA Technical Manager David Lomax with Presales consultant James Dowell, who also conducted a Cloud computing themed seminar and Kerrie Featherstone from UK Sales and Marketing.

With the increasing demand of storage solutions, Barracuda On the Cloud Backup Service took the limelight, with many delegates surprised by the technology options, unique features and low costs, when comparing to other competitors within the exhibition.

We were exhibiting along with other players like Microsoft, Google, Hitachi. We also sponsored and conducted the seminar on “Cloud Computing - Beyond the Blue Horizon” at the Security & Governance theatre.
